Summer 2018 diary on 35mm film

film poetic aesthetic quote by Ailera Stone

This blog post is a sort of diary of different shots from summer 2018 on 35mm film. Considering how much I love film and that I have a little point and shoot camera with me at all times, I really should share my film shots here more often and show more of my personal life. Though I’m not sure if you’re interested in these type of posts, so do leave a comment to let me know! Very much inspired by Lizzy Hadfield’s film posts and I do love seeing her life in that way.

Honestly, my film diary shots are mostly not good at all, and I love it! Just such a different vibe. And complete magic each time I see the shots (which I’ve forgotten by the time I develop the roll). Always a surprise, and a really freeing way of shooting when you don’t see straight away what you got. It’s an antidote to me constantly being too critical about everything I do or how I am.

All these shots were shot on my Canon AF35m point and shoot film camera and Kodak gold film. You can check all other film posts I’ve posted here and other lifestyle ones here (including travel) as well.

I’m still really behind on all posts here as I continue to shoot/ and plan shoots, while all other stuff piles up. Every blog post lately takes up at least A DAY of my time as I work on the layouts etc. and I do like how I present it as it makes it more interesting and creative for me as well, so please do let me know what you think!

      I’m never sure if people are interested in this type of blog post, so I’m really glad as I love capturing my life on film!
      You should just keep shooting film, I’m no good at all really haha (technical side wise), but I love it so much. :}
      I feel like film suits you so much too, so would love to see more of that from you.
