One of my recent posts was a photoshoot with Ilona @ The Squad, and I took pictures on film too. We started on the streets of Soho for some more simple and casual portraits. For sunset, I wanted to shoot in Hyde Park, and I love how both parts of this shoot came out.
I used the same cheap camera that used for my shoots lately – Pentax MZ 50. In this shoot particularly I can see that I should get a more high end film camera as I know I want to keep shooting a lot of film. And in the settings where it was darker it’s a bit too much grain for my liking (and I do like grain). I think the film was a bit expired as well (Kodak Portra 400). However the portraits of Ilona I took on film in the sun are some of my favorite film portraits that I’ve done.
Let me know which pictures/outfit you like the most from these! You can see the full digital photoshoot on my blog here. And my other film posts here.
