film diary Spring / Summer 2020
Honestly, since the start of the pandemic I don’t feel like I’ve done much at all, so this and the next film diary posts will probably be a bit lacking. Not very interesting for sure. It’s not just that I wasn’t ever going anywhere. I also didn’t see anything at all worth capturing in my own house, like I couldn’t see anything worth preserving. But I feel like many of us have been really down for awhile as well. So I do want to share even these bits too, as it’s part of life. (And probably evidence of the weirdest year in all of our lives). So here are some 35mm film diary pictures from Spring / Summer of 2020.
At the end of February me and my friend Silvija went out for a nice chill day on the Portobello road. It was the first day of the year when the weather was lovely and we still had no idea what would happen in less in a month… It’s definitely one of the nicest areas for outings in London in my opinion.

This was my last shoot before the first full on lockdown in March. The light outside was so lovely and golden. Love the image below! Something about it feels a bit surreal to me.
