beauty photoshoot on 35mm film

I’ve been a lot more into beauty photography lately and especially been excited to try out natural light for it. I have already shared this beauty photoshoot with two agency models – Amelia and Emily @ The Squad management on my blog before. But I was also testing out a 35mm film camera at the same time, so in this blog post I’ll share the results on film. I personally love how soft and “real” film always feels, but I haven’t tried it on a purely beauty photoshoot. As much as I do love the result, I think I prefer the film shots here that have more environment in the background. As film is always a medium that tells a story best, so it really suits it. Whereas clean and glowing beauty on white background looks technically a lot better still on digital.
