Agency model testshoots on film
Summer lookbook for Sugar + Style on film
I had many shoots recently which I mostly shot on digital, but as I love film so much couldn’t resist to take some on film too. However it wasn’t as many pictures to make up a full blog post. So in this post I’m sharing many of my agency model testshoots on film.
The first photos are from a super lovely day in Camber Sands shooting with my fave team. I love how the film came out and I didn’t even develop it for ages! At least it was a nice surprise once I did, as I forgot I took these.
Full digital results from this fashion shoot can be seen on my blog too.

Model test with Martyna Balsam
This is the most recent out of all the shoots in this post. I have just shared a post with all digital shots from it. It was tough to shoot this day so we kept it short – it was around 0 degrees. So extemely cold, and I don’t think it’s visible in the end result because of the sun. Even if we did all we could and Martyna was doing great, I wanted to get it done as soon as possible. Hence – only a couple of shots on film.
Shadow test with Charlotte
I love experimenting with shadows, and it’s very easy on digital because you see how it’s working out right away. However, on film it’s a different challenge. I had to try it for at least a few shots and see how it turns out. I was loving the digitals! Unfortunately the film camera I was using got “stuck” with a battery error.. So I only managed to take a few, would have definitely done more otherwise…
Full blog post with shadow model test with Charlotte is also on the blog.
Fashion editorial for Dreamingless magazine
In 2020 did a fashion editorial shoot in the fields for Dreamingless magazine. It was quite hectic – as the clouds were gathering and it started to rain at the end of the shoot. So I knew I had to concentrate on getting it all on digital and I shot mostly that. And once again, the film camera got stuck anyway. I only brought one and didn’t intend to shoot much on it, so I only got a few shots from this shoot too. The right call anyway, as I think the film was expired too.
The full fashion editorial for Dreamingless in its own post here if you are curious about the digitals.
